ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:

The department of Mathematics is one of the oldest department in the college producing nearly 200 candidates every year.

The department has its origin in 1968 when the college was under the affiliation of the Andhra university. the BSc course with Mathematics Physics and Chemistry as the combination was started in the year 1968. the BSc course with Mathematics Physics and Computer Science as combination was started in the year The BSc course with Mathematics Chemistry and Computer Science as combination was started in the year New restructured course was started with group combination Mathematics Physics and Web technology in the year 2020- 2021. At present this college was autonomous. The department was very experienced, well qualified and highly dedicated faculty to mentor students. The BSc Course with  Mathematics Honour was started in the 2024.
