The Department of Hindi was established in 1968.The Department aspires to be leading Centre of studies in Hindi by integrating skills and Technology to attain Knowledge.

     Hindi is offered as 2nd language for the Under Graduate students. The College is situated in the non-Hindi region, hence more emphasis is given on imparting the communication skills to the students in Hindi. A Certificate Course in Hindi is also offered. The department  actively organizes literary events, guest lectures and essay writing competitions to promote a vibrant Hindi learning environment. It helps students to sharpen and enrich their skills in the language.
