In GCW(A), Srikakulam social work department startedd from 2019 as History, Economics and Social work background. In this department, successfully completed five years of academics with 100% pass percentage in social work subject.The Social Work Department at the graduation level is a program designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to become competent social workers. Social work is a profession that focuses on improving the well-being of individuals, families, groups, and communities. Students in this program are prepared to work in a variety of settings, including healthcare, education, social services, and community organizations, where they address social issues such as poverty, inequality, mental health, and family problems.From 2024-25 academic year, it acts as a Minor Program for Economics.
